Fred Kohler was a member of National Wrestling Alliance until 1963-02 and was NWA President between 1961 and 1962. Leonard Schwartz, another NWA member, ran the opposition to Kohler in the 1950s. Kohler left NWA in 1963-02 and formed International Wrestling Alliance.
