Defeats Bobby Bruns on 40-06-13 in Kansas City to win MWA World Heavyweight Title. Also defeats Dick Shikat for the Columbus versoin of MWA World Title on 40-06-27 in Columbus, OH, making him the champion in both cities. Later, Brown is said to have held the National Wrestling Alliance title for seven years before losig to Sonny Myers on 47-11-03 in Des Moines, IA.

Holder of the Wichita-based National Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Title, recognized as the Alliance champion in Des Moines, IA by Pinkie George between 43-05 and 43-08; the 43-05-09 issue of a Waterloo newspaper reports that Virag has defeated both Orville Brown and Bill Longson after capturing tournaments at Minneapolis and Philadelphia.
