Editorial Reviews:
Synopsis
Mr. Nanny This uproarious action comedy stars Hulk Hogan as Sean Armstrong, a bodyguard who's horrified to learn his latest job is to baby-sit two unruly kids! What's worse is they're the offspring of a top-secret inventor and have created some painfully inventive booby traps of their own! But when their dad's arch-rival arrives to steal a device that could end the world, Armstrong must team up with the kids, teach them a few heartwarming lessons about friendship and kick some villainous butt to save mankind - before bedtime! Suburban Commando Hulk Hogan leads an all-star cast including Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future, The Addams Family) and Shelly Duvall (Popeye, Roxanne) on a hilarious and high-spirited action comedy adventure! Stranded on Earth, a lone galactic warrior (Hogan) attempts to adapt to neighborhood life - with results that truly alienate his neighbors. But when his evil nemesis tracks him across the universe to his backyard bungalow, he must rally all the Earthling help he can to repel the nefarious invader!

Still trying to establish himself as a comedy actor, Hulk Hogan proves he's a one-joke pony in this limp comedy about spoiled rich kids. He takes a job working for computer genius Austin Pendleton, whose kids have practical-joked themselves out of every nanny their dad has hired. The Hulkster comes in for the same treatment: electric shocks that stand his sparse blond hair on end, bowling balls to the noggin--in other words, the full Home Alone treatment. But when dad's villainous nemesis (David Johansen) tries to kidnap the kids, it's Hulk to the rescue, and then it's the kids' turn to rescue him, using their naughtiness to good advantage. --Marshall Fine
