As a part of the settlement of the lawsuit filed in 2012/01 against the Pro Wrestling Organization, LLC by a Brownsville, TX member Bruce Tharpe, the ownership and management of the NWA brand was transferred to the International Wrestling Corp, LLC, established in 2012/08 by Tharpe, Chris Ronquillo (Houston), and Fred Rubenstein (New Jersey).
