I am trying to find out which team was first awarded the 25th Anniversary NWA Tag Team Titles?

No, he's talking about when Jim Crockett Promotions commemorated the "25th Anniversary" of the NWA World tag team title in 1986 by having silver plated belts. It was the Rock 'N Roll Express who first wore them, followed by Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez. Each of the latter two kept one of the belts after they left the company.

Gotcha. So, they were claiming their version of the title started in 1961.
