Can anyone tell me what was the reason for his death? Recently, I heard that he was murdered. I always thought that he committed suicide.

As I recall, he had a disagreement with Victor Quiones(a promoter in Puerto Rico) and Victor shot him. He was then somehow found not quilty in a Puerto Rico court.

I believe it was Jose Gonzalez and that he stabbed Brody. Well whatever the case may be, no one was convicted for the murder.

You may be right. I only heard it mentioned once somewhere and that was awhile ago, so my details(like the murderer and how he did it) may be a little foggy. I'd take Gonso's word for it.

It was Jose Gonzales who stabbed Brody in a shower room.

Victor Quinonez runs IWA, the opposition to WWC run by Carlos Colon and Gonzales. IWA had a Brody memorial card last year.

Tony Atlas was served to be a witness at the trial but never showed up. Hence, Gonzales was not convicted.

It was Jose Gonzalez who stabbed Bruiser. Gonzalez plead not guilty by reason of self defence, and was found not guilty

He had a desagreement with Jose GOnzales(aka Invader 1) so Jose stabbed hom in the stomach and he died while waiting for a ambulance, which never showed up. Invader wasnt charged in court.

Yes, it was Invader 1 aka Jose Gonzales who stabbed Bruiser Brody while he was showering after one of their matches and Gonzales stabbed him and some Wrestlers where there, like Tony Atlas and some others.

Some Notes:
- Brody was indeed stabbed in the shower by Jose Gonzalez (known as Invader #1)
- Brody suffered a pierced lung in the stabbing
- Brody did indeed get an ambulance, albeit 40 minutes after the stabbing.
- Apparently, in Mantel's case, he recieved his subpoena after the trial was underway and in his words, "I had already heard the verdict by the time I opened the subpoena."

Yeah he didnt kill himself he was killed in the shower over a argument.
