Kaufman Vs Lawlor
does anyone have the real player or mpg version floating around somewhere online of Jerry Lawlor's classic encounter w/ comedian Andy Kaufman? I know I've seen it before I just don't remember if it was on here or where

I don't know where you can see this feud, but if you want more information 'bout it, you can read "It's good to be the king...sometimes", from Jerry "The King" Lawler. Many chapters are entirely about the Kaufman/Lawler feud.

Last week, I watched "Man on the Moon", the famous movie in which Jim Carrey plays Andy Kauffman.
To my mind, this movie is a good representation of this feud. The only one problem is Jim Ross as the announcer. What you have to know about Nakano :

Not too long ago on late night tv Saturday Night Live reaired an old episode from the early 80's hosted by Danny Devito. There was a cool segment inwhich Kaufman was interview by Brian Doyle Murray. Kaufman, wearing the neck brace, says that he did not realize wrestling was so dangerous and apologizes to the fans and say he would never wrestle again.

Not to mention that Memphis put out 3 or 4 commercial tapes about Kaufman. Tracking down someone who has it in decent quality could be tough. I have two of them, but the guy who copied them for me screwed up and I'm missing the last half hour of 2 of the commercial tapes. They're very similar to Story of the F in presentation.

I will try to find a good video online of the match for you. I have seen most of the match and it is pretty entertaining, especially when Kaufman runs away like a little girl.
