I don't know if any "new" information has been revealed since I haven't been over there yet, but yesterday it was revealed that this "Smokey" guy who supposedly used to work for the McMahons is apparently just a group of people doing a sociological experiment to show that wrestling fans are basically nothing more than a bunch of stupid, gullible marks who are willing to believe almost absolutely anything they're told. So in short, the whole thing looks to be like nothing but a cruel joke and everybody was "worked".
That's not a conclusion that should be jumped to just yet. The work might be a work. But there are still questions to be resolved about Smokey and Hempstead. Don't jump to ANY conclusions just yet. The jury is still very much out.

No offense intended to you personally CM, but my opinion of this whole Russonian like debacle can be summed up in one simple word:
Whatever ![]()
The Final WordI was had. It was a work. I had kept on pushing to get to the bottom of it, as did the KM Mods, and I just received a full confession via email, as did Vince Fahey. I will leave what to reveal up to him as it was KM that was involved, except to say that it was one person, a female, acting alone and not a 'collective', that she copped to having made this her life's obsession and having researched all of it on the net with the exception of the rib stories which were bogus.
I don't know whether to go shoot her, propose to her, or get her a literary agent. Well there it is.
I wasn't able to read the article but I would say that the NWA title lineage is still alive in the NWA-TNA... the WCW title was never part of that lineage, but I would say that the WWE Raw title is the continuation of the WCW title since the WWE bought WCW.
The article had nothing to do with the WCW or RAW title. If you wanna discuss on the NWA/WCW/RAW issue, go to:

WWF/WWE Title is not a fraudHello,
I disagree with this post.. I have been doing tons of research into the WWF/WWE Titles (as well as WCW, ECW, NWA TNA) and Yes I do question some things in the WWF/WWE/Smackdown! Heavyweight Title but it does have a rich history and a lot of great Wrestlers have worn the title. The only reason that the WWF/WWE ever had world status is for two reasons 1. Because they broke away from the NWA in 1963 and Started there own world title 2. Because they took a small regional country and made it the most sought after promotion in the world. Only one guy came close but Vince bought him too I also feel the same about the title on RAW but that is a different post and more is to be said for that title.
Since the topic of this thread no longer exists, I'll close this thread as well.
