Best fueds of Showa period in AJ & NJwhat were the best/Top fueds of the Showa period
My fave was the Funks vs Baba/Tsuruta what are some others??
Some of the great feuds I can think of:
New Japan: Inoki vs. Hansen Inoki vs. Tiger Jeet Singh New Japan vs. Revolution Army vs. IWE Fujinami vs. Choshu Tiger Mask vs. Dynamite Kid All Japan: The Funks vs. Abdullah the Butcher & The Sheik The Funks vs. Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody Tsuruta vs. Brody Tsuruta vs. Tenryu Tenryu vs. Choshu Hisaharu Tanabe, webservant

Also, New Japan vs. UWF in 1986.
Revolution Army was Ishin Gundan right? MÁMENME EL BICHO TODOS LOS FANS DE LA WWE!
Revolution Army = Kakumeigun was formed in Jan., '83 with Masa Saito (leader), Riki Choshu, Killer Khan, and Kuniaki Kobayashi
It became Ishin Gundan in the summer of '84 with additional members: Animal Hamaguchi, Isamu Teranishi, Yoshiaki Yatsu, Tiger Toguchi, and Hiro Matsuda (replacing Masa just for a tour as an "advisor"). By this time, of course, Hamaguchi and Teranishi had split with Rusher Kimura, who later joined the original UWF. Hisaharu Tanabe, webservant

Nah... it represents the new era of All Japan. It was AFTER 1990 and shouldn't be considered as a Showa feud.

I agree with Fiasco Tiger Mask/Dynamite Kid was the greatest rivalvry in Showa Puroresu, the junoir heavyweights rule!

Now, now, I never said it was the GREATEST...it was one of the best though. I liked HansenTsuruta and New JapanUWF more though... I have seen the face of Satan, and his name is Bill Apter.
funks v.s sheik/abdullah
funks v.s brody/hansen and of course......dynamite kid v.s tiger mask....thats like one of THE feuds of the 1980s.....
While I think Tiger Mask/Dynamite Kid was one of the greatest feuds of all time, from the matches I've been able to track down I really like the Funks/Hansen-Brody feud. I've only seen a few matches between the two, but man, they were great. I also really liked Vader/Inoki right after Vader debuted in New Japan.

does any one know where genchiro tenryu is today and possibly how to contact him or find pictures of him fro the late 70s to early 80s
Dude where have you been, Tenryu came back to All-Japan three years ago. To contact him, you'd have to learn Japanese and write to All-Japan's web, www.oudou.co.jp. 70's - 80's stuff, I know of a good web, www.wrestling-high.com/tenryu, but it's also in Japanese and it has pictures of his moves mostly during 80's and 90's matches.
