Went to see a PWS card in Rahway, NJ last night.
The first two matches were good. Davey Richards & Adam Cole vs the Briscoes, followed by Alex Reynolds vs AR Fox.
Both Mascaras and Vader wrestled before the intermission.
I saw Mil Mascaras five years ago for the first time. He will turn 70 next month. Was still watchable, IMO (I said "watchable". Doesn't necessarily mean "good").
Big Van Vader (who seemed to have a hard time even walking) vs Scorpio was better than expected. Good friends, good opponents, I guess.
Of course, we all know how bad Muta's knees are. However, his match was the most convincing, and I think it was the best match of the card. That's coming from someone who has never been a Mutoh/Muta fan since his debut.
The show was VERY long as expected. There were some unnecessary matches in my opinion, but seeing those legends live for $20 wasn't bad.
