The lawsuit filed against the National Wrestling Alliance this past January has been settled, paving the way for changes in the organization.
The ownership and management of the NWA brand will be transferred from the Pro Wrestling Organization LLC managed by Bob Trobich (who pretty much saved the promotion from going into destruction back in 1989 when the last true member of meaning, Jim Crockett Promotions was bought out by TBS, creating World Championship Wrestling) ...
i found some matches of wrestlers from America in the 1930s and 40s in England. First is former AWA World Champion Ed Don George, who wrestled in the late 1930s in Europe. According to this source from England he had only one match there in 1937 or 15.04.1938 against Leo Lefebvre. This is the result:

Combat Zone Wrestling will present the 2012 Tournament of Death, their annual outdoor tournament in Townsend, Delaware on Saturday afternoon 6/23.

Went to see a PWS card in Rahway, NJ last night.
The first two matches were good. Davey Richards & Adam Cole vs the Briscoes, followed by Alex Reynolds vs AR Fox.
Both Mascaras and Vader wrestled before the intermission.
I saw Mil Mascaras five years ago for the first time. He will turn 70 next month. Was still watchable, IMO (I said "watchable". Doesn't necessarily mean "good").
