To be honest, I don't know many of these wrestlers, but I think the video production is well done (doesn't look too cheap). Sure, NWA isn't what it used to be, but these guys are trying to making the events look very important thru this video clip, and I think they are doing good job at it. As you see on my website, Heywood Allen was listed by a Waterloo paper as the president for the pre-1948 National Wrestling Alliance.
However, Tim Hornbaker, whose NWA book has recently been released, reported to me yesterday that he couldn't find any connection between Pinkie George's Iowa-based "National Wrestling Alliance" and Heywood Allen, a Louisville promoter from 1940s.
Instead, Allen mainly booked the guys from Tom Packs of St. Louis including National Wrestling Association champions ...

Thanks to ZEKE, I was able to find the photo of the Moolah-controlled women's world tag team title belt on the great CWF Archives web site.
As I remembered, the belt says "NWA" on the top. While it was not controlled by NWA board but was controlled by Moolah and defended mainly on WWWF/WWF cards, I guess it's now safe to say that it was an "NWA" title (just like many other company titles that ...

In an interview here on WWE.com John "Bradshaw" Layfield said that he beat Kevin Von Erich for the NWA World Heavyweight title. That can't be. I don't ever remember Bradshaw getting the NWA title. So what title did he beat him for?

In the early 50s Verne Gagne wrestled Danny Savich for the NWA championship in the midwest. Gagne won, but what-
ever became of Savich. He wrestled some big names such
as Bobo Brazil, and he had matches on the Texas circuit. I would appreiate any information. Thank you.

I am in the process of redoing my title history site (yes been on going for almost 6 month) and I am double checking all information.
