I'd like to suggest some changes within this website's history of the Original World Heavyweight Championship first held by Georg Hackenschmidt.
1. The title history should start with Hackenschmidt's win over Tom Jenkins in 1905, not his tournament wins from 1901. Earlier claims are simply other titles. Not only Hackenschmidt has been crowned World Champion in European Tournaments since 1901. There have been a lot of other champions in this time period.

Tor Kamata passed away on 2007/07/23 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan after a long battle with heart disease.
Kamata was one of the top heels in the old IWE where he was Rusher Kimura's big rival. He then wrestled for All Japan and won the prestigeous PWF Heavyweight Title from Giant Baba in 1978. He had a total of 16 tours in Japan.

Karl Gotch has passed way on July 28th, 2007 in Tampa, Florida. He was a true legend in the sport, especially in Japan where he was known as the guy who trained other legends such as Antonio Inoki, Osamu Kido, Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Satoru Sayama, Akira Maeda, etc., etc.

Our sport lost what may be the last connection to the Depression Era. Abe Kelmer, better known as Abe Coleman in the world of squared-circle, passed away in Queens, New York at the age of 101. He was said to be the oldest pro-wrestler in the world.
