Tiger Chung LeeI was watching an old MSG show from 83 and Tiger was on it. I know I've seen him wrestling in Japan on old tapes but the VQ on the MSG show isn't great and I can't place it. Does anyone know if he wrestled as something else in Japan?

He was actually a big name in Japan in the 70s and early 80s. After breaking up with his heel tag team partner (and mentor) KIM Ill (Kintaro Ohki), he became the third man of All Japan under Baba and Tsuruta until jumping to New Japan in '81(?). Soon after, Baba started pushing Tenryu as the third guy in the promotion.

Oddly enough, I have Hacksaw Duggan vs. Tiger Chung Lee on my 'Best of Hacksaw Jim Duggan' tape.
Those Coliseum video people really picked the best of the best when it came to making compilations. I have seen the face of Satan, and his name is Bill Apter.
I always wondered what the Colesium Video definition of the word "best" was.
