Most Important title todayThere aren't actually any decent or fresh heels on Raw are there? The IC title would be better off on Smackdown
Well, whether he wins or not, everything is always an upset. That's why I don't class Jeff Hardy as a serious competitor, plus he can't wrestle to save his life. If I wanted to see acrobates, I'd watch AAA
I wonder who'll get the IC title off Van Dam tonight(16/09/02). My money's still on Buh Buh Ray Dudley. Still a worthless title.
I think it was better if they had used the IC title as RAW's main title, maybe with a new, bigger title belt...
WWE probably brought back the Big Gold belt just to diss the NWA.. <b>TJ/Kiseki, The Netherlands

I never thought I'd be so dissapointed and against Jericho, and it's not because of his anti-internet remarks. Since his title win in December, he has been not only a shoddy wrestler but a terrible politician and a mediocre character. Why am I actually hoping that Ric Flair gets the crap IC belt this sunday?
He needs to salvage his career and his legacy before he can retire. In my eyes, if he can make the IC belt mean somthing and have a good match with Jericho, it will be worth it. Alas, as he got the clean win over the aszclown at Summerslam, Jericho won't go 0-2 to Flair will he?
True, but to pay-per-view defeats to same guy in succession, I can't remeber the last time that happened on WWF/E ppv's?
I think one way you should look at this question is who has held the title lately and what respect that brings to it. History does a lot but not if current or recent champs are not worthy which degrades the belt such as the case with the NWA Title. Incredible past but then Severn, Douglas, Candido, etc. almost takes away everything Thesz, Race, Flair, Steamboat did for 50 years to establish. The WWE has split their belts, one of which has no history and no one fought to get it, Triple H was just handed it, so despite my great respect and admiration for Kurt Angle, the WWE belts have lost most if not all their worth due to the split and poor americanized trade the title every week programming. The IWGP has history and Inoki & Mutoh are two men that have really defined the IWGP champ. Hashimoto has most reigns which is a good thing but he is not IMO in the league of Flair or Race as a champ. Nagata is about to break defense record and I believe this record is just to try and get him some credibilty. He has struggled as champ and many don't see him as among the elite, so having him with the most defenses over the likes of Hashimoto, Mutoh, Fujinami and even Inoki IMO degrades the belt some. However I would dtill categorize it among the world's best, top 3 at least. IWGP Jrs despite a recent decline still is the best JR Title out there. Kanemoto & Liger are enough to give it credibilty and regard as top Jr Title in World. AJPW Tag belts? Three Words: Kronik equals Destroyed. Triple Crown. This has to have been the ultimate title for the past decade or more. Tsuruta, Hansen, Misawa, Vader, Kawada, Taue & Kobashi. But with NOAH taking all the AJPW talent and having Mutoh & Tenryu battle for it and defend agaianst some terrible challenges (not Kojima or Kea which are terrific) and then lose it to Z1 head guy Hashimoto brings it down some. Especially when the champ is fooling with Wrestle 1 nonsense. Sapp beats Mutoh but Mutoh is still #1 b/c he's got belt? Goldberg destroys Kojima & Kea in minutes but they are still top challengers and push champs to limits? Bad booking has taken Triple Crown down a level.--->
